1. Purpose and scope
These terms govern the engine remapping services offered by OPTI-MAP (S.à r.l.-S, RCS Luxembourg B236374), limited to the Subaru and Ford Focus ST/RS vehicles listed on the Pricing page.
2. Prices and terms
Prices shown on the site are in euros, tax included, and may change at any time; the applicable price is the one in force on the date the appointment is confirmed. No online payment is offered on this site: payment is arranged directly between the client and OPTI-MAP, on terms agreed before the intervention.
3. How the service is delivered
The service takes place at the client’s home (within the geographic limit stated on the Pricing page), by post (the ECU is shipped to us), or by the client travelling to Bertrange. Travel costs, where applicable, are detailed on the Pricing page and communicated before the intervention.
4. Right of withdrawal
Under EU distance-selling rules, clients have a 14-day right to withdraw from an order without giving a reason. This right can no longer be exercised once the service has been fully performed before the end of that period, at the client’s express request and with their prior agreement — which is the general case for a remapping carried out on the day of the appointment.
5. Risks and liability
Any engine remapping carries a mechanical risk; the failure statistics observed by OPTI-MAP are published on the FAQ page. The client acknowledges having read them before any intervention. OPTI-MAP systematically backs up the original file and offers a free return to it.
Use on public roads. An engine remap is not authorised for use on open roads without re-homologating the vehicle. Compliance of the vehicle with the regulations in force in its country of registration is the client’s sole responsibility; OPTI-MAP cannot be held liable for non-compliant use.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by Luxembourg law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection provisions applicable in the client’s country of residence where the client resides in another EU Member State.
